Job summary

Cineplex in Victoria, BC is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager to help lead a dedicated team and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced cinema setting.

You will assist with operations, staff scheduling, and budgeting, while pursuing opportunities to grow revenue and ensure every guest leaves eager to return.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and offer appropriate options and resolutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team during busy periods across departments.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills.

What you will do:

Cineplex's Part-Time Assistant Managers are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional experience to each and every guest. Our PT Assistant Managers are passionate about movies and look to bring their experience towards providing a fun and entertaining night out.

In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assist with leading and managing a dedicated team of employees and, when necessary, take an active hand to ensure guest satisfaction is maintained.
• Manage the guest experience - ensure every guest who visits your facility is satisfied and is excited about their next visit.
• Assist with managing your theatre's budget and growing revenue.
• Forecast, initiate action/projects to drive the business forward and strengthen Cineplex Entertainment as Canada's #1 premier film exhibition company.

Qualifications:

• You have experience in a similar environment.
