Job summary

A 1st Cook prepares and cooks food according to recipes and airline menu specifications, and follows food safety, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing principles in line with Gate Gourmet Food Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions and airline specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook various food items according to recipes and airline menu specifications.
• Follow food safety, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing practices.
• Communicate with supervisors and co-workers and work as a team.
