Dalhousie University seeks a Part Time Academic to support the Chem 2201: Introductory Analytical Chemistry lab for Fall 2025. Responsibilities include coordinating lab activities, preparing materials, and assisting students. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in chemistry and a passion for teaching.
Responsibilities for this position include working with the teaching team in the preparation and delivery of all aspects of the lab for Chem 2201 in the Fall 2025 term. This may include preparation of course materials, marking of student pre-lab and post-lab reports, answering student inquiries, running lab sessions, tutorials, and other tasks as assigned by senior members of the teaching team. Additionally, this position may involve tasks related to preparing materials for Chem 2201 and chemical solutions. This position reports to the Dean of the Faculty of Science through the Chair of the Department of Chemistry.
