Job summary

Armour Security & Protection Services Corporation (ASPS) is seeking a part-time Security Guard for our Williams Lake location. The role includes patrolling sites, reporting security threats, and responding to alarms, with an emphasis on reliability and English proficiency.

Schedule is Tue-Fri with one week every month (every 3rd week), hours 8:15 am–4:15 pm, pay rate $26 per hour. Start date July 22, 2025. Benefits are provided after 9 months.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy and comfortable using smartphones
• Ability to follow rules of conduct and take leadership roles as required
• Reliable and highly punctual
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in patrolling assigned job sites
• Identify, monitor, and report security threats
• Respond to fire alarms, threats, and emergencies promptly
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada and Provincial Statutes
• Use E-Armour Software to file daily and incident reports and scan patrol checkpoints

ASPS provides Security Guard Services, Mobile patrol, Event Security Guard Services, Alarm Response, Concierge Services, Bike Patrol, Parking Enforcement, Loss Prevention Officers, Bodyguard Services, and much more. At this time, we are looking to hire Part time security guard for our Williams Lake Location.

Location: Service Canada

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, only one week every month. (EVERY 3RD WEEK OF EACH MONTH)

Hours: 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, 1 hour unpaid break

Start: July 22, 2025

Pay Rate: $26 per hour

Job Description:

• Play an active role in patrolling assigned job sites
  
• Play an active role in identifying, monitoring, and reporting security threats
  
• Respond appropriately to fire alarms, threats, and emergency situations in a quick and timely manner
  
• Thorough knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada and Provincial Statutes
  
• Use our E- Armour Software Apps on a Smartphone to file, daily reports, incident reports, etc.
  
• Use our E-Armour Software to scan the patrol checkpoints
