Job summary

Alberta Health Services, through Emergency Health Services, is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) for Grande Cache. The role involves assessing scenes, transporting patients, leading BLS teams, and maintaining ambulance readiness in challenging weather and remote locations.

Applicants must hold ACOP PCP registration, BCLS CPR, a Class 4 Alberta Driver’s Licence with clean abstract, and complete the F.A.R.E. test.

Qualifications

• Non-restricted ACOP PCP registration in good standing.
• Current BCLS CPR certification.
• Class 4 Alberta Driver's Licence with clean five-year abstract.
• F.A.R.E. test completed or eligible for Lifemark verification.
• Ability to perform full operational duties on start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients and provide transport when needed.
• Lead the BLS crew and deliver clinical care during transport.
• Ensure ambulances and transport units are stocked and ready.
• Work in varying conditions including remote locations and weather.
