Job summary

TES The Employment Solution is seeking a Wireman / Panel Builder in Mississauga, ON to assemble and wire custom electrical control panels from electrical schematics. The role requires extensive panel-building experience and the ability to work from electrical drawings.

Starting pay is $28/hr+ with potential for extension and permanent hire. Typical shift is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, in a contract environment based in Mississauga.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience assembling and wiring custom electrical control panels based on drawings and schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Experience with point-to-point wiring, wire termination, and component installation.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Mount and install electrical components including PLCs, relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, switches, and other control devices.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and wire termination.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot completed control panels to ensure proper operation and quality standards.
