Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario and availability to work days, evenings and weekends.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in palliative care; ongoing continuing education is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and exceptional computer skills.
  • Well‑developed interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of an integrated team (PSWs, physicians, hospices).
  • Effective problem‑solving and conflict management skills.
  • Works well in a changing environment with an appreciation for continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Current CPR certificate required.
Compensation

The hiring pay range is $32.30–$35.30 per hour, based on experience.
