Saint Elizabeth invites you to join Journey Home Hospice in downtown Toronto as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). The role offers a $2000 sign-on bonus, competitive total rewards, and a supportive team dedicated to compassionate care for people experiencing homelessness and vulnerability.

You will deliver full-scope nursing, work 12-hour shifts, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include Ontario RPN, LEAP certificate, hospice experience, and a commitment to ongoing

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RPN.
• LEAP Certificate required / Willing to complete LEAP Certificate within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year Hospice Palliative care experience and ongoing continuing education is preferred.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations.
• 1 year Mental Health experience and ongoing continuing education is an asset.
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate is required.

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
• LEAP Certificate required / Willing to complete LEAP Certificate within 6 months of hire
• Minimum 1 year Hospice Palliative care experience and ongoing continuing education is preferred
• Experience working with vulnerable populations
• Mental Health Nursing Certificationor equivalent training preferred
• 1 year Mental Health experience and ongoing continuing education is an asset
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of an integrated health care team (PSWs, RPNs, Physician, Nurses, Hospices Volunteers)
• Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Works well in a changing environment with an appreciation for continuous quality improvement processes
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate is required
• Availability to work 12 hour shifts
