Job summary

Foremost Industries in Calgary, AB, invites applications for full-time painters at our manufacturing facility. You will work from drawings and verbal instructions to apply prime or decorative coats to finished products and equipment, using brush or spray equipment.

We value safety and reliability, offer a comprehensive benefits package, paid vacation, RRSP/pension, and a supportive team environment. Typical schedule is Monday-Thursday with 10-hour days on Day Shift.

Qualifications

• Light/Heavy industrial painting or coating experience is preferred.
• Hand tools required.
• Safety training is an asset but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow drawings and verbal instructions to perform painting tasks.
• Prepare and apply prime or finished coats to parts and equipment.
• Operate brush or spray equipment and maintain paint supplies.
• Care for and maintain painting equipment and facilities.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Description

Foremost Industries has an immediate opening for full-timePainters located at our manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Work with minimal direction to all drawings, sketches, layout boards, etc., and/or verbal instructions
• Prepare and apply prime or finished coats of paint (protective and decorative) to all parts of finished products and/or equipment
• Operate brush or spray equipment as required and is responsible for proper storage and handling of all paints and painting supplies
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of all Company owned finishing and painting equipment and facilities
• Perform other tasks related to his/her classification
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Light/Heavy industrial painting and/or coating application experience preferred
• Hand tools required
• Safety Training an asset but will train as required

• Typical Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10-Hour Shifts
