Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a skilled painter to contribute to its aerospace and automotive painting operations in Dorval, QC. The role involves surface preparation, priming, and applying paint with conventional or electrostatic spray systems, ensuring high-quality finishes for complex components.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in automotive or aerospace painting, comfortable with spray technologies, and can communicate in French.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in automotive body painting and/or aerospace painting.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French.
• Formal training or certification in painting techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mix paint according to specifications.
• Prepare surfaces prior to paint application.
• Apply primer and paint using conventional or electrostatic spray guns.

How to thrive in this role?

Secondary School Diploma (Grade 11) and 3 years of experience in automotive body painting and/or aerospace painting, or

Vocational Certificate (A.E.P.) in Industrial Painting or Aerospace Components, or

Vocational Diploma (D.E.P.) in Auto Body Repair, or

College Diploma (D.E.C.) in Aerospace Painting.

Proficiency in spoken and written French.
