Qualifications

  • Must have a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of 7 months to less than 1 year is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and paint surfaces, including mixing paint and applying wallpaper.
  • Advise clients on colors and wall coverings while ensuring quality finishes.
  • Erect scaffolding and manage materials for painting tasks.

Salary: $27.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
  2. Repair cracks and holes
  3. Mix paint to desired colour and texture
  4. Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  5. Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings
  6. Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  7. Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  8. Estimate costs and materials
Additional Information

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
