Job summary

AG Growth International Inc. in Nobleford, AB, is seeking a skilled Painter for our manufacturing team. You will spray surfaces, powder coat/blast components, and assist with labeling and line throughput.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3–6 months related experience, manufacturing exposure, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role on the paint line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Manufacturing experience is an asset
• Able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds repeatedly
• Able to work in fast paced environment standing for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Spray surfaces of parts and weldments with paint.
• Clean, paint, and decal parts as needed.
• Clean spray guns; organize decals and labels; read prints and floor travelers.
• Label parts with part number, quantity, and location.
• Move materials to load/unload on overhead paint conveyor line.
• Support other departments when not on paint line.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsible for to work both independently and as a team member to powder coat/blast components, parts, pieces and finished product to specifications This role is responsible for spraying surfaces of parts and weldments with paint. Clean, paint, and decal parts as needed. Cleaning of spray guns, organizing decals and labels, read prints and floor travelers. Label parts with part number, quantity, and location. Hang and remove parts from the Paint line.

Responsibilities:

• Spraying surfaces of parts and weldments with paint.
• Clean, paint, and decal parts as needed.
• Cleaning of spray guns, organizing decals and labels, read prints and floor travelers.
• Label parts with part number, quantity, and location.
• Move materials as needed to complete loading and unloading responsibilities using hoists, overhead crane, or other available methods of material handling on overhead paint conveyor line.
• Support other departments (such as assembly department) as needed when not working on the paint line.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
