Job summary

The Home Depot Canada seeks a Sales Associate to deliver fast, friendly service and actively assist customers with their projects. You will develop strong product knowledge, greet and thank customers, and promote services such as tool rental and Pro Desk.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be comfortable with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and thank customers using the GET model.
• Actively seek customers and escort them to appropriate merchandise across departments.
• Ask open-ended questions to determine customer needs and expertise.
• Promote services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services.
• Discuss options (good, better, best) and suggest related items or services.
• Educate customers about the whole project and related products.
• Maintain stock, signage, cleanliness, and display standards.
• Maintain knowledge of products in the department and adjacent areas.
