Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Sales Associate to provide fast, friendly service, assess customer needs, and guide customers to right solutions for home improvement projects. You will greet, engage, and thank every customer in your department and share product knowledge to help complete projects.

Responsibilities include driving sales by presenting options, promoting services like tool rental and Pro Desk, educating customers about whole projects, and maintaining stock and safety standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of Retail or Trade experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Customer Satisfaction by greeting, engaging, and thanking customers.
• Actively seek customers throughout the store and escort them to appropriate merchandise.
• Ask open-ended questions to determine needs and level of expertise.
• Promote services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services.
• Discuss options (good, better, best) and suggest related items/services outside department.
• Educate customers about the whole project and assist with stock maintenance.
