Job summary

Select Finishing Ltd. is seeking an Inspector for our production operations. The role focuses on advanced part handling, coating line inspections, and strict adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, managing rework tasks, and maintaining thorough quality documentation. You will mentor less-experienced staff and contribute to process optimization while ensuring packaging accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years manufacturing/production experience.
• Advanced knowledge of finishing/paint applications and quality standards.
• Ability to perform advanced quality checks per specifications.
• Experience mentoring or training teammates.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced production inspections and quality checks for painted parts, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Handle complex rework tasks precisely, resolving defects and ensuring corrective actions meet quality requirements.
• Ensure accurate and efficient workflow documentation, including production counts, quality records, and process tracking.
• Mentor and train less experienced general labourers, providing hands-on guidance to improve skills, efficiency, and process adherence.
• Lead process optimization efforts, identifying areas for improvement in material handling, sequencing, and overall workflow efficiency.
• Verify and adjust part sequencing and spacing to maintain smooth production flow.
• Oversee and ensure packaging accuracy, verifying that final products meet quantity, labelling, and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned
