Job summary

Kent Building Supplies Inc. is seeking a Paint Associate in Summerside to help customers choose the right paint products and provide friendly, informed service.

You will drive sales through engagement, share product knowledge, and maintain current promotions while ensuring safety and accuracy in every interaction. This role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

As a Paint Associate, you will help the customers to fully understand their needs and assist in selecting the right products for their requirements. As knowledgeable sales professionals, sales associates can make recommendations which solve customers' problems and enhance their shopping experience.

Strating hourly wage is $17.55.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Clarify and understand customers’ needs and take them to the best solution for their projects
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions
• Produce quotes, material lists and follows up
• Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service
• Resolve customer challenges quickly and efficiently
• Continually learn about products and market conditions
