Job summary

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is seeking motivated candidates for a Sports Marketing, Communications & Events Intern role. You will support communications and organize sports initiatives within the EIC community, contributing to content, campaigns and activity coordination for participants and partners.

This internship offers exposure across marketing, content creation, event logistics, and stakeholder collaboration in Canada’s vibrant sports ecosystem, with supervision to guide priorities

Qualifications

• Currently studying sports marketing, communications, events, or sports management.
• Enjoys projects that combine content, organization and public interaction.
• Familiarity with social media and basic visual content tools.
• Well organized, responsive and able to coordinate multiple tasks.
• Comfortable communicating in English; French is a plus for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Marketing: prepare communications activities for sports audiences.
• Content: create posts, interviews and materials about sports projects.
• Scheduling: coordinate publications with events and key moments.
• Events: help prepare programs and organize logistics.
• Partners: track visibility deliverables with stakeholders.
• Participants: manage information, registrations and pre-activity communications.
• On-site support: welcome participants and coordinate event-day activities.
• Review: analyze feedback and campaign results to improve future activities.
