SE Health in Inverary, ON is launching a Paid Personal Support Worker Training Program designed to certify PSW professionals. This 6-month, part-time program starts with five weeks of paid PSW training at $19.05 per hour, followed by part-time community work and virtual learning with hands-on labs.

Successful candidates will develop essential care skills, communication, and safety awareness while supporting patients, with travel to client sites and required immunizations and checks.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to patient locations and attend meetings
• Valid G or G2 license and own reliable vehicle
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C within 3 weeks of start
• Proof of updated immunizations and TB test within 6 months
• Clear police and vulnerable sector checks upon job offer

Responsibilities

• Complete paid PSW training weeks and participate in subsequent community work
• Engage in virtual learning, in-person labs, and required placements
• Provide personal care activities, household support, and general assistance to clients
