Job Description

As a Physiotherapist, you are responsible for the assessment of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and cardiorespiratory systems, as well as the treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of injuries or pain. The goal is to develop, maintain, rehabilitate, or augment function and promote mobility. Care will take place within residential or institutional settings, with referrals generated from various sources. Client groups may include pediatrics for in-home or school services and/or adults with medical or health concerns.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct initial client assessments, identify problems, and establish goals and treatment plans
• Develop client-centered plans with clients, inter-professional teams, and stakeholders
• Engage clients using a collaborative approach, build rapport and trust, and ensure mutual understanding of services
• Maintain professional client records of encounters and plans
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including government agencies and community resources

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Willingness to travel to clients' residences within a designated area
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
