Job Purpose

The Packing Hall Trainer works with the Training Supervisor to train packing hall associates on job-related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Conduct hands-on training for packing hall positions.
  2. Utilize training materials like handbooks and videos.
  3. Follow Onboarding Records as a training checklist.
  4. Ensure employees are trained on Health and Safety procedures, GMPs, e-Stops, Lockout Locations, and emergency exits.
  5. Support T&D Manager in designing and tailoring training programs for packers and associates.
  6. Assist in ongoing development opportunities.
  7. Communicate with employees about training needs and resolve issues.
  8. Ensure training compliance as per the Training Matrix.
  9. Record training activities in Alchemy.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
  11. Follow all Health and Safety regulations.
  12. Adhere to GMPs, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  13. Comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  1. Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods.
  2. Willingness and talent for coaching and teaching.
  3. Effective planning, multitasking, and time management skills.
  4. Good record-keeping and report-writing skills.
  5. Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
