Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. in Canada is seeking a General Labourer for our packaging department. You will ensure the highest quality product is packed while following training, safety instructions, and company policies.

This role requires teamwork and the ability to perform multiple tasks during a shift. Shifts rotate Days, Afternoons, and Nights with potential overtime. The position involves heavy lifting up to 32 kg and working in a refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 32 kg repeatedly.
• Ability to rotate 8-hour shifts (Days/Afternoons/Nights).

Responsibilities

• Case piling: lift and stack finished cases onto pallets using safe techniques.
• Tote dumping: transfer frozen product from bulk totes into hoppers for processing.
• Utility: prepare bulk totes, perform housekeeping, support production as needed.
• Perform other duties while maintaining a clean, safe work area.
