Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a Package Handler in Winnipeg, MB to load and unload freight, scan and sort within the facility and transport freight between locations.

The role requires training others on loading, palletizing, and scanning techniques to ensure safe, efficient movement of packages. A high school diploma is preferred, with up to 6 months of PH experience, and the ability to lift 70 lbs with appropriate equipment. A valid G license and good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• Six months of experience as a Package Handler (Preferred).
• FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations (Preferred).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must lift 70 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Must possess a valid G license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight within the facility.
• Scan and sort freight to support efficient movement.
• Transport freight within and between facilities.
• Train other Package Handlers on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques.
