Qualifications

  • Six months of experience as a Package Handler preferred.
  • Valid G license and a good driving record required.

Job description

This job involves loading and unloading freight, scanning, and sorting within the facility, as well as transporting freight within and between facilities.

It also includes training other Package Handlers on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques to ensure efficient and safe package movement.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler (preferred)
  • Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations (Preferred)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Valid G license and a good driving record
