FedEx in Barrie is seeking a Seasonal Temporary Part Time Package Handler to load, unload, scan and sort packages, and move freight within and between FedEx facilities.

This temp position offers shifts with specific hours, and requires a High School diploma, ability to lift 70 lbs and a valid G license with clean driving record. Wage is $21.63 per hour, for a period through 15-Jan-2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of package handler experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Valid G license and clean driving record required.

Description du poste

To load and unload freight, scan, and sort freight within the facility. To transport freight within and between facilities.

Trains other Package Handlers (PHs) on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques in order to ensure efficient and safe movement of packages through the operation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Preferred)
• Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler preferred.
• FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations - (Preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs & maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Must possess a valid G license & have a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

Shift 1: Monday to Friday: Hours 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm: Shift 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday: Hours 4:30 am to 10:00 pm * Must Have a Full Valid Class G License & Have a Good Driving Record. G2 NOT ACCEPTABLE.
