Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Canada is hiring a Package Handler to load and unload freight, scan and sort items within the facility, and transport freight between locations.

You will train fellow Package Handlers on loading, unloading, palletizing and scanning techniques to ensure efficient, safe movement of packages through the operation. Candidates must meet the physical requirements and be able to work a 5-day, varied-shift schedule; bilingual (French and English) is required in Quebec.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Preferred)
• Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler preferred.
• FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations - (Preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs & maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Must possess a valid G license & have a good driving record
