Job summary

HUDD Transportation Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced owner-operator with a valid Class A CDL to handle intermodal/container freight across the Memphis market and surrounding region. This role involves pre-dispatched loads, local and regional runs, and mostly home-daily operations.

Candidates should have intermodal/container experience, IFTA and apportioned plate familiarity, and the ability to operate across state lines. This is a part-time position with up to 12 weeks of assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Owner-Operator with own reliable tractor.
• Intermodal/container experience preferred.
• Apportioned plates required.
• IFTA required.
• Ability to operate across state lines.
• Ability to handle overweight and HAZMAT freight when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Handle intermodal/container freight across the Memphis market and surrounding region.
• Process pre-dispatched loads and adhere to local/regional schedules.
• Maintain mostly home-daily operations and timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with terminal support for driver-focused service.
• Operate within overweight/HAZMAT guidelines when applicable.
