Job summary

UPS is hiring a Part-time Warehouse Package Handler for our Mississauga, ON location. You will load, unload, sort, and scan packages in a busy distribution center with early start times from Monday to Friday.

The role offers on-the-job training, weekly pay, and benefits including extended health, dental, and pension plans, plus opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted.
• Able to follow set procedures.
• Able to work with automated conveyors and manual rollers.
• Comfortable working inside container trailers, delivery trucks or similar equipment.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and temperature changing warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work with and recognize postal codes and routing charts.

Responsibilities

• Operate or work with automated conveyors and manual rollers.
• Maintain efficiency and safety in a fast-paced warehouse.

Job Description:

UPS is currently looking for Part-time Warehouse Package Handlers at our Mississauga location. Package Handlers are responsible for the loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages in the center.

• Job Classifications: Part-time Warehouse
• Job Type: Permanent/Hourly
• Job Location: 6500 Silver Dart Drive, Mississauga, ON L5P 1B1
• Workdays: Monday - Friday (must be available to work all 5 days)
• Scheduled Start Time: Monday: 3:30 AM, Tuesday to Friday: 6:00 AM *must be available to work 3-5 hours each day *flexibility required
