Qualifications
Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level.
Successful completion of a recognized pacemaker specialty exam.
Two years of recent related experience.
Responsibilities
Perform pacemaker analysis and program settings in clinics and OR.
Assist surgeon during implant procedures.
Conduct ECG testing, stress testing, and pacemaker programming.
Monitor pacemaker functions and respond to abnormalities.
Train staff and residents in pacemaker functions.
