Job summary
A leading health care provider in New Westminster, B.C., is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for a casual position at Royal Columbian Hospital. Responsible for monitoring patients' ECG and hemodynamics during various procedures, the successful candidate will also prepare reports and maintain medical equipment. Qualifications
- Two years of recent related experience in cardiovascular technology.
- Eligible for registration with CACPT and/or CCI RCIS credential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patient for procedures by applying electrodes.
- Gather patient history and enter data in EMR systems.
- Monitor ECG & hemodynamics during procedures.
- Prepare reports on recorded hemodynamics.
- Maintain and troubleshoot monitoring equipment.
- Participate in emergency procedures under physician direction.
