Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Overnight Remodel Associate to work with the Overnight Remodel Manager to establish standards in newly renovated departments. The role includes completing modulars, securing high-ticket merchandise, maintaining the clearance zone, unloading and loading fixtures onto trucks, and building counters per prints.

Responsibilities cover multiple departments and require adherence to cold chain guidelines, shrink prevention, and safe movement of heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
• Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
• Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments
• Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
• Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
• Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
• Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
• May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
