Job summary

Deer Creek Golf & Banquet Facility in Ajax, Ontario, is hiring an Overnight Event Setup Crew to assemble and tear down banquet spaces according to event plans. Read BEOs, arrange tables, linens, glassware and buffet stations, and ensure rooms are presentation ready.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and strong teamwork and communication. Reliability, time management, and following instructions are essential. Shifts start around 3:00pm–11:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down banquet halls and event spaces per floor plans.
• Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate event execution.
• Arrange staging, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, glassware, and buffet stations.
• Ensure rooms are prepared and presentation-ready.
• Maintain cleanliness during room flips (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming).
• Safely move, store, and maintain banquet equipment.
• Keep service corridors and back-of-house spaces organized and unobstructed.
• Follow all workplace safety policies and company guidelines.

Overnight even Set up Crew

We are currently seeking motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Overnight Event Setup Team.

What You'll Do

• Setting up and tearing down banquet halls and event spaces according to event floor plans and specifications
• Reading and interpreting Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate event execution
• Arranging staging, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, glassware, and buffet stations
• Ensuring rooms are fully prepared and presentation ready
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining cleanliness of event spaces during room flips
• Safely moving, storing, and maintaining banquet equipment
• Keeping service corridors, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces clean, organized, and unobstructed
• Following all workplace safety, and company policies
