Job summary

Legacy Design Tech seeks a motivated Distribution Designer to design and deliver overhead and underground electrical distribution projects in Calgary, AB. You will work with project managers, engineers, and clients through the project lifecycle, preparing IFR/IFC packages and ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related tech discipline.
• Experience designing overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
• Strong knowledge of utility distribution systems, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver distribution design projects for overhead and underground systems.
• Prepare IFR and IFC design packages with high accuracy.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and project teams.
• Perform pole line analysis, voltage drop calculations, and related engineering calculations.
• Support permitting, approvals, and project documentation.
