Job summary

Rightway Crane & Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Service Technician for a full-time role at our head office in Oakville.

The technician will perform service, repair, inspections, and installations of overhead cranes and lifting equipment, including emergency after-hours on-call work. Travel to client sites will be required periodically for technical service, training, and orientation, with daily documentation via Inspectall and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the overhead crane industry.
• Technical or vocational training in mechanical and electrical fields (309A/442A Electrician recommended).
• Solid understanding of overhead crane and construction equipment operations and mechanical functions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team in a repair-focused environment.
• Expertise in mechanical and electrical assemblies, with strong attention to detail.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
