Job description

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships and closing deals? Do you thrive in face-to-face sales and strategic account management? If so, we want you on our team!

RS Breakers & Controls is looking for a high-energy, motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive sales growth and profitability within industrial sectors. In this role, you’ll be responsible for business development, account management, and delivering value-added solutions to customers in Saskatchewan.

What You’ll Do
Business Development & Sales
  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key industries, including:
  2. Electrical contracting companies, electrical consulting engineers, and electrical wholesalers
  3. Power, mining, oil & gas, and agriculture (grain elevator upgrades)
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers.
  5. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in Saskatchewan.
  6. Drive margin growth through value-added services and supplier partnerships.
Account Management & Customer Support
  1. Execute and expand customer account plans in collaboration with the President.
  2. Conduct proactive prospecting, including cold calling and referral-based lead generation.
  3. Identify customer needs and recommend the best solutions through technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  4. Provide superior customer service by maintaining open communication and resolving issues.
  5. Develop strong supplier relationships and conduct joint sales calls.
  6. Prepare and deliver sales quotations, bids, and proposals.
  7. Maintain accurate CRM records and account documentation.
What We’re Looking For
  1. Minimum 5 years in sales, procurement, or business development (electrical industry preferred).
  2. Familiarity with electrical products, mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.
  3. Proven ability to build lasting client relationships and close sales.
  4. Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM software, and quoting tools.
  5. Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  6. Existing relationships with electrical contractors, wholesalers, and industry professionals is an asset.
