Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (General Tool/Rental) to develop new business, maintain strong customer relationships, and deliver innovative solutions in general tool and construction equipment.

Based in Calgary, you’ll prospect new customers, grow existing accounts with exceptional service, coordinate with operations on equipment availability, and deliver presentations to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in direct sales or project management within the equipment industry.
• Rental industry experience is an asset.
• Strong business development and customer retention abilities; excellent communication and presentation skills.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience:
  • 2+ years in direct sales or project management within the equipment industry
  • Rental industry experience is an asset
• Skills:
  • Strong business development and customer retention abilities
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn engineering concepts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 25+ lbs, work indoors/outdoors, and occasionally travel for customer visits. Safety is at the core of everything we do.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $40,000 – $50,000. Total compensation includes base pay, company vehicle, and a robust commission plan. Expected earning potential: $90,000 – $150,000 in the first year.
