Job summary

Life’s Journey Inc. is seeking an Outreach Support Mentor in Brandon, MB. This full-time permanent role supports participants in the Outreach/Westman Services program, coordinating activities and ensuring program requirements are met.

The role collaborates with the Clinical team and program manager, following agency policies and safety standards while maintaining strong relationships with participants and partners.

Qualifications

• Previous Outreach experience required.
• Optimally, two years’ experience in a related role and supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Experience in an outreach setting.
• Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry check, satisfactory Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector search) and a satisfactory Drivers’ abstract and License.
• Certification of First Aid Level 1 – Emergency.
• Reliable vehicle and possession of a 5F Driver’s License.
• Ability to attend work regularly as scheduled or requested.
• Demonstrated language, writing, comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to program participants of the Outreach or Westman Services program.
• Work alongside the Drop in Coordinator and Clinical team to plan, monitor and communicate activities.
• Follow Personnel Policies, Health and Safety and agency practices in duties.
• Assist with program administration and collaborate with the Outreach Team and collaterals.
