Triumph Group of Companies seeks a Project Manager / Estimator for its Ottawa roofing branch. You will own the full cycle from initial quote to project close, managing bids, procurement, and on-site coordination with clients and crews to ensure timely, profitable outcomes.

Role emphasizes independence, disciplined estimating, and direct leadership in a standalone Ottawa operation with safety-first culture and room for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience in roofing, ideally Ottawa market.
• 3+ years in project management or supervisory role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and bid platforms like BuildingConnected.
• Experience quoting and managing tenders end-to-end with material procurement.
• Strong organization and time management for multiple bids and projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates from quote to tender.
• Track and submit bids through BuildingConnected and similar platforms.
• Manage awarded projects from procurement to completion.
• Coordinate material procurement to keep schedules on track.
• Build relationships with clients, managers, and suppliers in Ottawa.
• Visit sites to assess scope, monitor progress, and resolve issues.
• Review drawings and site conditions to scope projects accurately.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to protect margin.
• Maintain records of estimates, bid results, and project docs.
• Report pipeline and project status to branch leadership.
