Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks an Occupational Therapist II to join the Rehabilitation Oncology Medicine team at the Grande Prairie Cancer Centre. You will deliver adult outpatient OT services, triage referrals, and develop tailored rehabilitation plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes leadership, evidence-based practice, and program development. Flexible scheduling with days only, 0.60 FTE, and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program with active or eligible registration.
• Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS Certification and patient handling certification.
• Experience in interdisciplinary teams and with Therapy Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OT and allied health services within the program.
• Provide supervision to students and team members as assigned.
• Make day-to-day clinical decisions on assessment, intervention, discharge and follow-up.
• Lead clinical decisions for complex cases and provide leadership within the program.
• Ensure OT practice aligns with regulations and organizational policies.
