Job Title: Orthotic Technician & Retail Sales Specialist
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Mississauga
Reports To: Clinic Manager / Store Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual role as an Orthotic Technician and Retail Sales Specialist. This full-time position involves both the hands-on fabrication, adjustment, and repair of custom orthotic devices, as well as customer-focused retail sales of orthopedic footwear and off the shelf medical appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

Orthotic Technician Duties:

Fabricate, modify, and finish custom orthotics using various tools and materials.
Read and interpret work orders and practitioner instructions.
Ensure quality control and precise fitting standards are met.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.


Retail Sales Duties:

Assist customers in selecting appropriate orthopedic shoes and medical devices.
Provide fitting services and product education to ensure optimal comfort and function.
Maintain inventory, process sales transactions, and ensure merchandising standards.
Support a welcoming and professional retail environment.

Qualifications:

Graduate of George Brown College Technical Methods program.

Experience in orthotic fabrication or a related healthcare or technical field preferred.
Retail or customer service experience, ideally in a medical or health product setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to patient care.
