hellodent in Surrey, BC, is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant with ortho and administrative experience to join our team in a permanent, full-time role. The position offers dental benefits, free parking, continuing education reimbursement, and team events.

Schedule includes mornings and some evenings, with a focus on patient care, collaboration, and continuous learning. Applicants must be registered or certified in good standing with the provincial body and have ortho experience where possible.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous ortho dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Wednesday: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$31-$37/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
