Viva Orthodontics is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our Port Coquitlam and Surrey practices. You will support orthodontists across treatment stages, perform clinical care, and help maintain a sterile, efficient environment.

New graduates are welcome. The role offers a 32–40 hour workweek, Monday–Thursday with some Fridays, and a competitive overall compensation package.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold current licensing/registration to practice as a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) in BC. New graduates welcomed.
• Completion of the Orthodontics Module.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Committed to infection prevention, sterilization, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.

• Assist the orthodontist with all stages of orthodontic procedures, including direct bond bracket procedures, arch wire and appliance adjustments, and aligner appointments.
• Provide comprehensive clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner.
• Handle sterilization procedures, prepare operatories, and take x-rays, photos, and intraoral scans.
• Maintain accurate records and build positive relationships with patients and families.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Assist Orthodontist with all stages of orthodontic procedures such as direct bond bracket procedures, arch wire and appliance adjustments, and aligner appointments
• Providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner
• Sterilization procedures, setting up the operatories, taking x-rays, photos, and intraoral scans
• Building positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers to ensure the targeted outcome treatment remains on scheduleEnter detailed chart/record notations in the practice management system
• Provide patient instruction/education
• Provide reports to parents/guardians
• Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice
