Job summary

Robertson & Company Ltd. is seeking an Organizational Design Consultant to support an existing vacancy in Ottawa, ON. This onsite contract role requires mapping processes, proposing efficiency improvements, and prototyping organizational design solutions for enterprise-level impact.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in organizational design or process engineering, with proven experience delivering business process changes at scale and providing strategic guidance to senior officials.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in organizational design and/or process engineering within the last 7 years.
• Experience on at least one enterprise-level business process or solution in the past four years.
• Demonstrated projects or appointments with measurable impact and scope.

Responsibilities

• Map existing operational and administrative processes.
• Identify modifications to increase efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
• Prototype solutions and analyze costs, risks, and options.
• Support development of organizational design procedures.
• Review work processes and structures for efficiency.
• Provide organizational design analysis to stakeholders.
• Advise senior officials on adopting new models or modifying current ones.
• Coordinate implementation of organizational changes and data-driven decision making.

Robertson is seeking a skilled Organizational Design Consultant to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core business hours

Job Responsibilities

• Mapping existing operational and administrative processes
• Identifying needed process modifications to increase efficiency and administrative burden
• Prototyping potential solutions and analysing costs, associated risks and potential options
• Assisting in the development procedures for organizational design
• Reviewing existing work processes and organizational structures and providing assessment as to their efficiency and effectiveness
• Compiling, assessing and disseminating organizational design analysis
• Providing senior officials with advice on developing and integrating new organizational models or modifying current models
• Coordinating the implementation of organizational changesIntegrate sound Information Management practices, according to institutional policy and directives, to enable data-driven decision making across the organization
• Other process design tasks, as required

Experience & Qualification Requirements

• The proposed resource must have at least 4 years’ experience in organizational design and/or process engineering, within the last 7 years
• Experience must be demonstrated through one or more projects or appointments, and evaluation will be based on total relevant experience as well as breadth and complexity of activities performed
• The proposed resource must have experience, acquired within the four (4) years designing and implementing at least one enterprise-level business process or solution
• Experience must be demonstrated through specific examples of the work, detailing the process, the impact of implementation, and the size of the enterprise (or number of people impacted)
