Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an Organic Search Manager who will own search for a book of B2B clients, defining the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table and will steer decisions.

You will collaborate with writers and AI to develop drafts, manage multi-location SEO, and ensure visibility across Google AI Overviews, while maintaining traditional organic results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run audits and fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers/AI.
• Drive visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Oversee links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed by clients.
• Report in GA4 and Search Console, and plan quarterly roadmaps for each client.
