Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an Organic Search Manager to own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will define the technical roadmap, prioritize content with writers and AI, and lead the ranking story when clients ask what moved.

You are the strategic voice at the table and make decisive calls. You will work on technical SEO, keyword strategy, content priorities, and AI-enabled search alongside traditional organic results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO including crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content priorities with writers and AI support.
• Drive search performance for AI-focused results (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity) alongside traditional organic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed for clients.
• Produce reporting in GA4 and Search Console and outline quarterly roadmaps for each client.
