Job summary

William Osler Health System in Ontario is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker/Health Care Aide to join our patient care team. You will assist with patient care under the direction of the resource nurse, transport supplies and equipment, and support a rotating shift schedule across Osler sites.

Candidates must have Grade 12 or equivalent, graduate of an accredited PSW/HCA program, CPR certification, and at least two years of recent patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Graduate of a PSW/HCA program from an accredited institution (or equivalent).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum two years recent related patient care experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Requires the ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting on an ongoing basis.

• Maintains, monitors and distributes departmental equipment.
• Transports patients, specimens and supplies as required.

Job Description

Additional Information

Currently Days/Nights 8, 12 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary:

Minimum: $31.39 per hour

Maximum: $31.96 per hour
