Job summary

William Osler Health System is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join the Clinical Resource Team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves floating to units across multiple sites in a day/night schedule, with 8- and 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

You will provide patient care in acute medical, CCC, palliative and surgical areas, reporting to the Clinical Services Manager. Current CNO registration, CPR, and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Current registration and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Able to function to the full scope of practice as per CNO.
• Current CPR certificates required.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension).
• Recent experience within two years of working in acute medicine and/or surgery.
• Flexibility, willingness and ability to float to acute medical, palliative, CCC and surgical units as required on a daily basis.
• Ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and has demonstrated teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in acute care medicine/surgery.

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, you will be responsible to provide patient care and education within your scope of practice in a variety of acute medical, CCC, palliative and surgical patient care areas. You will be provided in advance with a sixweek working schedule.

• Salary:
  Minimum: $36.08 per hour
  Maximum: $39.02 per hour
