Job summary

Tim Hortons Distribution Centre in Guelph, Ontario is hiring an Order Selector for the night shift to assemble and ship food orders. You will pick, load, and palletize orders, operate a powered pallet truck, and contribute to a clean, safe environment while meeting daily targets.

Starting hourly rate of $26.00 with increases to $31.87 over three years, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in ambient and freezer conditions (-20°C).

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
• Experience with powered pallet trucks is an asset.
• Experience with voice-directed picking is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in ambient and freezer temperatures (~1°C to -20°C).
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Pick, assemble and load food orders for shipment, manually or with a pallet truck.
• Ensure orders are accurate and safe while meeting production targets.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain a safe environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for actively participating in our Distribution Team to reach daily production targets. This includes manually picking required products and assembling them on pallets for shipping, assisting with clean up between shifts, and handling incoming and outgoing freight.This recruitment post is for a full-time Order Selector role based out of our Distribution Centre located at 950 Southgate Dr, Guelph, ON N1L 1S7.
