Summary of responsibilities

• Use pick sheets to pick and pack goods for customer orders ensuring accuracy (prepare shipments)
• Use packing slips to put away receivables to proper locations ensuring accuracy
• Operate forklifts, loaders, and other heavy machinery necessary to complete tasks
• Perform shipping/receiving clerical tasks (e.g., emailing shipments to forwarders)
• Organize warehouse locations
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by management
• Maintain company equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor/manager
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and quality standards

Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as an order picker is an asset
• Some knowledge of ERP systems is preferred
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to lift 70 lbs frequently throughout the day
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
