Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking an Order Picker to assemble orders in-store and prepare items for delivery. You will collect items across the store, verify accuracy, and pack orders to protect them during transit, while assisting with basic POS transactions and customer inquiries.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Candidates should be comfortable with warehouse tasks and occasional overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or distribution experience is an asset.
• Comfort with basic customer order transactions (POS) and returns.
• Ability to read order notes or COM order in the system.

Responsibilities

• Follow GET model of customer service: Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking the customer.
• Gather product mix to fill all orders in a timely manner using the Order Fulfillment Application.
• Load delivery vehicles and assist with curbside orders, following safety rules.
• Pack and label orders to prevent damage during delivery.
