Job summary

Jealous Fruits Ltd. in Kelowna, BC is seeking a Farm workers supervisor who will lead and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. The role includes tree training and production record keeping in a busy orchard environment.

The successful candidate will work seasonal or full-time, with hourly wages between $20.00 and $23.00 and 30–50 hours per week. English fluency and physical stamina are required to thrive in dusty, noisy outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related industry experience.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Able to work in dusty and hot conditions.
• Able to work long hours outdoors.
• Willing to work under pressure.
• Experience in tree and orchard fruit farming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• Keep track of quality control and production records.
• Maintain work records and logs.
• Hire and train employees.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Carry out general farm duties.
• Oversee fruit tree training, shoot positioning, suckering, and tying.
